Our house is in Zell am See’s Schmitten valley, situated slightly above the town centre. In the summer months we offer the perfect starting point from right outside the door for many of the area’s hiking and biking routes.

The quaint Schmitten stream, silenced by snow in the winter months, babbles and splashes down the valley behind our house. And our smaller guests can play in the garden, where a sandpit, swing and slide wait to be explored. The garden is always the perfect place to enjoy your breakfast! Why not?!

Our winter skiing guests really value the fantastic location! The ski bus stop is right outside the door and just 2 stops later you are at the base station of the gondola. This means getting to and from the pistes on the Schmittenhöhe could not be easier. Two restaurants and a neighbouring farm shop selling wonderful regional, agricultural products are all within walking distance, adding to the ease and enjoyment of a holiday with us. Doesn’t that sound tempting?

‘Man’s best friend’ is a central part of our family so we welcome bookings from guests wishing to bring their dog on holiday with them. There are lovely walks straight from the house, both in summer and winter, guaranteed to be enjoyed by guests and their four-legged companions!
