Our house is in Zell am See’s Schmitten valley, situated slightly above the town centre. If you are looking for a comfortable home from home feeling with a personal yet private atmosphere, then look no further! In the summer months our house is the perfect starting point for many of the areas hiking and biking routes. And a short 10-minute walk will get you to the centre of Zell am See. This is the same distance to the nearest outdoor pool and lakeside bathing areas. Alternatively, the bus stop is right outside the door. The quaint Schmitten stream, snow-covered in the winter months, makes its presence known as is babbles and splashes down the valley behind the house. And our smaller guests can play in the garden, where a sandpit, swing and slide wait to be explored. The garden is always a perfect place to enjoy your breakfast! Why not?!
As you can tell, we welcome dogs as our guests with open arms. They are very much a part of our family and we understand the importance of a family holiday with your dog. For a winter ski holiday, you really cannot beat our fantastic location. The ski bus stop is right outside the house and just 2 stops later you are at the base station of the gondola. This means getting to and from the Schmittenhöhe pistes could not be easier. The proximity also provides the option of coming back to the apartment for lunch of simply taking a break during a busy day of skiing, something families with children certainly appreciate. Two fantastic restaurants, which we can highly recommend, are also located within walking distance of the house. Could a holiday with us be any more relaxing? Doesn’t it sound tempting?
